ANOTHER LIE by Stacy Duprey-Purper of RiseWiFi, MeetmyDeal and Better Business Together !We just received a call from Stacy Duprey-Purper's client, The Java Grounds coffee shop in Peoria following a termination email we sent. Our reseller agreement with Stacy Duprey-Purper contains a clause that delinquencies and/or non-payments of active licenses can result in service suspension or termination.
Billy Hobbs of Kaleo Realty stated that Stacy Duprey-Purper assured him that "their license was paid in full" so "not to worry". Interestingly enough, she must have kept those collected funds and opted to not pay us! She's also told us countless times that "I'm not charging them at all..." so it looks like both of are being lied to. How can someone be so dishonest by this action? Perhaps she assumed again, this issue would disappear if she continued to ignore it. But IF she did collect payment, is she stealing from Java Grounds or my business or both? Now she "claims" to have "mailed the check which per her records does not show it cashed yet"! Naturally since we haven't received a check at all. Perhaps she sent it to someone else? It's ironic that a business called "Better Business Together" would conduct business in this fashion! So my question to any business in Phoenix, especially the "new' clients that she is providing social wifi marketing services in Phoenix for - eg, Elevate Coffee, Southwest Eye Center, and anyone considering using Stacy Deprey of RiseWiFi for social wifi marketing services in Phoenix! Better Business Together initiated a reseller agreement with NGAGE Wifi on May 2014 which terminated in Nov 2014. Stacy Duprey-Purper cited the reason was that they needed more competitive rates and that we were holding them liable for a group of licenses even though one of their customers cancelled after 60 days. Our agreement and the customer agreement (which BBT was required to replicate) clearly states that all licenses are sold on an annual basis. For their customer convenience, BBT offered a monthly payment and agreement option.
Upon termination, there are concise terms under the NGAGE reseller agreement, including termination obligations of unpaid licenses, which need to be abided by. Unfortunately, the only item delivered to date by BBT is their official notice to terminate the agreement with NGAGE. None of BBT’s financial obligations has been honored per the contract. The required payment of all amounts due is not only unpaid after 45 days but Stacy Deprey-Purper under Better Business Together has simply ignored all of our requests. We have reason to believe that her original intent was as follows: realizing that our NGAGE agreement would be jeopardized by their client who cancelled, they reached out to the same WiFi provider (i.e. Purple Wifi) to setup a direct reseller agreement with them without any notice or advisement to us. They even used a different company name/ contact to apply for the reseller agreement - fully aware that Purple would question BBT’s move and the issue of non-payment would arise. As Stacy Deprey-Purper stated to NGAGE , "this decision was purely business related.." which seems ironic since they refuse to honor their contractual and financial obligations to NGAGE. The amount is not small - $11,799 which if handled professionally, we would have been open to a payment plan. However, based on prior history this could have been risky for NGAGE since it took Better Business Together over 60 days to even settle a small $355 invoice prior to all of this. Bottom Line……be forewarned, if you are considering doing business with Stacy Deprey-Purper at Better Business Together or RiseWiFi.com please be aware of her business ethics and morals (lack of). This may impact your company, as it has NGAGE. This is still unbelievable to us since I've known Stacy Deprey-Purper for some time and even worked with her at a prior company. But as they say, if it smells like a fish.. We'll continue to post an update and share the legal progression of this very sad situation…. |
